We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Mobile Applications:

We offer mobile applications, including the Monterey Car Week companion app, that help attendees navigate our events. This section describes information practices specific to our mobile applications, in addition to the practices described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Location Data

With your permission, our app accesses your device's location while you are using the app ("When In Use") to show your position on the event map and to surface events and venues near you. Location access is optional and is only active if you enable it. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, and the app remains fully usable without it.

Push Notifications

If you opt in to notifications, we collect a device push token (provided by Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging) so that we can send you event updates, schedule changes, and time-sensitive alerts. Notifications are optional; you can disable them at any time in your device settings, and the app remains fully usable without them.

Device and Usage Information

Our app stores a device identifier to remember your saved schedule, reminders, and preferences on your device. We may also collect basic technical and diagnostic information to keep the app working reliably.

Email Sharing Of Your Schedule

The Velocity Monterey Car Week app includes an optional feature that lets you email your saved schedule to yourself and to others.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you choose to use this feature, you provide:
- Your own email address (required to send the schedule).
- The email addresses of any recipients you choose to send it to (optional).
- An optional short personal note.

We do not access your device's contacts or address book. You type in each email address yourself.

WHY WE COLLECT IT AND HOW WE USE IT

- Your email address and any recipient addresses are used to send the schedule email you requested.
- If — and only if — you check the optional marketing opt-in box, we add your own email address to Velocity International LLC's mailing list to send you updates about Velocity events. This box is unchecked by default. Recipient ("friend") email addresses are never added to any mailing list; they are used only to deliver the single schedule email you asked us to send.

HOW IT IS STORED AND SHARED

- We store a record of these email shares (including your email address, the recipient addresses, and whether you opted in to marketing) to operate the feature, prevent abuse, and, where you opted in, maintain our mailing list.
- We use Resend (and its underlying email infrastructure, Amazon SES) as our email service provider to deliver these messages. These providers process this data solely on our behalf and under our instructions to send the email; they do not use your or your recipients' email addresses for their own purposes.
- If you opted in to our mailing list, we maintain your email address in Constant Contact, our email marketing provider, which processes it on our behalf to send you Velocity event updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email.
- We do not sell your email address or your recipients' email addresses, and we do not share them with third parties for those third parties' own purposes or for advertising.

YOUR CHOICES AND HOW TO REMOVE YOUR DATA

- If you opted in to the mailing list, every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- You may request that we delete your email share records or remove your email address from our systems by contacting us at fansupport@viavelocity.com. When you unsubscribe or request removal, we remove your address from our marketing provider and delete the associated record we store.
- Recipients of a shared schedule may likewise contact fansupport@viavelocity.com to have their address removed from our records.

DEVICE IDENTIFIER

The schedule you email is associated with a random device identifier the app generates to remember the events you have saved. When you email your schedule, the email address you provide is stored alongside this identifier.

Grievance / Data Protection Officer:

If you have any queries or concerns about the processing of your information that is available with us, you may email our Grievance Officer at Velocity International LLC, 336 Bon Air Center #377, Greenbrae, CA 94904, email: info@velocityinvitational.com.
